Information reaching the PoliticsNGR newsdesk this evening reveals that a group of suspected thugs attacked a member of the Rivers House of Assembly, Hon. Promise Chisom Dike of Oyigbo local government area of the state.
The group of hoodlums set the lawmaker’s SUV on fire after allegedly parking his car in front of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP office in Oyigbo.
According to information gathered, the attack was as a result of conflicts between the lawmaker and a group of politicians ahead of the PDP elections in the state. Photos
