Neymar’s father is prepared to force an exit for Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain after he met with agent Pini Zahavi.
A report by French media outlet Liberation, Neymar Sr. met with Zahavi in Paris and made it clear that his son to return to Spain to play along with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid.
A source also disclosed that Neymar told Liberation the aim of the meeting was to get a new club ahead of next season.
“He asked him to open the door to Europe’s biggest clubs,” the source is quoted as saying, with the Spanish capital being the obvious destination.
Neymar wants a move to Spain and he has ruled out going to England, and the only other place that can match up his transfer fee of €260m is Real Madrid, as it would be impossible to return to Barcelona right now.
PSG has maintained their stand that the Brazilian forward is not for sale and believe the rumour is generated by people who stand to gain a lot of money from the deal.
Marca quotes a source from the Ligue 1 club as saying, “there is no fixed price because Neymar is not on the market, it’s ridiculous and the chances of reaching an agreement with a club is
zero”.
