Reports have it that French giants PSG made a massve €100 million bid for Barcelona player Ivan Rakitic.
Barcelona on their part said a big fat NO as the money brought forward was short by €25m, the midfielder’s release clause being a whooping €125 million. As such the Croatian ace remains a Barca man until 2021 at the very least.
Reports further state that after the PSG approach, Rakitic asked the club for an improved contract. Barcelona however declined his request. It is thought that the player is displeased by the rejection.
Further whisperings going around state that PSG will be back for the midfielder, and will be willing to offer up Adrien Rabiot to sweeten the deal.
