Quavo TalksAbout His Upcoming Solo Album And His Plans For The Future

Quavo spoke to Hypebeast about his upcoming solo project Quavo Huncho in a new feature, but he’s not the only member of the highly-successful Atlanta trap trio Migos who is releasing their own material.

“We’re all getting a good month of expressing ourselves and doing our own thing,” he details. “It’s just an intermission for us to get out our expressions off equally… The only thing you’re going to get is Quavo Huncho on this album and that’s it.”

Earlier this summer, Huncho released three solo tracks, “Lamb Talk,” “Workin’ Me,” and “Bubblegum,” which all give off different flavors from the ASCAP Songwriter Of The Year.

“I just try to be humble as possible,” says the Migos frontman, who believes he’s in the ‘modern day top five.’ “You might see me in McDonald’s or something and be like, ‘wow, he in McDonald’s,’” he continued. “We all came from the same spot, you know what I’m saying? Ain’t nothing was handed to me. I grind for everything that I got. I worked for everything I got and I want to show the people that it can be done.”

What’s Quavo’s biggest goal with his work? He says he’d love to be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, but he’s just here for the fun ride.

“I’m trying chase my goals and making my parents proud of me and keep working and dropping new music and keep creating,” he says. “I can’t never stop creating, when you stop creating you’re dead.”
