In a fresh controversy the Health Minister has alledgedly called on doctors to take up farming, etc.
Isaac Adeowole said that not all medical graduates in Nigeria must not practice. He said this while responding to a question he was asked by journalists at a function recently
Journalist: “What do you say about the fresh medical graduates who are frustrated out of the country because they can’t get residency training placements?”
Nigerian Minister of Health: “It might sound selfish, but we can’t all be specialists; some will be farmers, some will be politicians; the man who sews my gown is a Doctor, he sews the best gowns in the world”
